Flyve MDM was an open-source mobile device management solution developed by Teclib that provided device inventory, file deployment, and application management for Android (4.2+) and iOS (9.3-12) devices. The platform offered a web-based console, REST API, and messaging system with integration into the GLPI IT asset management platform. **OFFICIAL DISCONTINUATION NOTICE (2024-2025):** Teclib has officially announced the cessation of Flyve MDM development. The decision was made due to the unique challenges associated with frequent and rapid updates of mobile operating systems, which demand significant resources to maintain an effective and secure solution. The project is now archived on GitHub with all 23 repositories preserved for reference. Key features that were available included device enrollment and management, policy configuration and enforcement (Bluetooth, WiFi, camera controls, password policies, etc.), application deployment and management, remote device control capabilities, security settings implementation, and data protection features. The platform supported both cloud-based SaaS and on-premise deployments. The company behind Flyve MDM, Teclib, continues to actively develop and support their flagship product GLPI, which remains at the forefront of IT asset management and helpdesk services. Users of Flyve MDM are advised to migrate to alternative open-source MDM solutions such as Fleet, MicroMDM, or consider commercial alternatives like Scalefusion, Kandji, or Hexnode. For organizations currently using Flyve MDM, the existing installations may continue to function, but without security updates, bug fixes, or new features, migration to actively maintained solutions is recommended to ensure continued security and compliance. The source code remains available under GNU AGPL v3 license for educational purposes and potential community forks.
