OpenFrame Tenant Management is the cloud tenant side of the OpenFrame platform. It connects to each client's Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace tenant and brings the admin work into the same interface as devices, tickets and logs, so a technician does not move between a dozen vendor portals per customer. On Microsoft 365 it works through Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and Microsoft Graph: license management, automated user provisioning and deprovisioning, security posture monitoring, compliance tracking and service health. On Google Workspace it works through the Gmail, Drive, Calendar and Admin APIs: automated user lifecycle management and security alert monitoring. Because it lives in OpenFrame, a cloud tenant is one more thing Mingo and Fae can act on. Onboarding a hire, changing a license or offboarding a leaver follows the same rules as everything else: fixed on its own when the rule allows it, sent for one-tap approval when it does not. Like the rest of OpenFrame it is open source and can be self-hosted, with no per-technician or per-tenant fees. Deep Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace tenant management shipped in OpenFrame v1.5.0.

Key Features

Microsoft 365 Tenant Management

Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and Microsoft Graph for every client tenant, in one interface

Google Workspace Tenant Management

Gmail, Drive, Calendar and Admin APIs for every client tenant, in the same interface

Automated User Lifecycle

Provision and deprovision users across tenants without opening a vendor portal

License Management

See, assign and reclaim Microsoft 365 licenses across clients

Security Posture and Alerts

Security posture monitoring and compliance tracking for Microsoft 365, security alert monitoring for Google Workspace

Mingo and Fae Act on Tenants

The same AI and approval rules that run devices and tickets handle cloud tenant work

Pros and Cons

Pros

Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace in One Place

Both suites are managed from one interface, where most multi-tenant tools cover Microsoft only

Zero Per-Technician Fees

Free self-hosted or flat-rate cloud, no per-tenant or per-tech pricing

Part of the Whole Stack

Cloud tenants share one platform with devices, tickets and logs, so onboarding a hire covers the account and the laptop

AI With Approval Rules

Mingo and Fae handle tenant work on their own or ask for one-tap approval, by rule

Open Source

The code is public and can be self-hosted and inspected

Cons

New Product

Shipped in OpenFrame v1.5.0, with a shorter track record than CIPP or the vendors' own portals

Part of OpenFrame, Not Standalone

It ships with the OpenFrame platform and cannot be deployed as a separate point tool

Self-Hosting Requires Expertise

Self-hosted deployments need infrastructure knowledge and maintenance (mitigated by the managed cloud option)

Narrower Than the Native Portals

Covers the common admin work, not every setting each vendor's own admin centers expose
